    Yoshisada's knives are each made completely by the hands of craftsmen. Made by a casting method of combining ferrite and steel under ultra high temperature, the knives with high degrees of hardness are durable, and are known for their long-lasting sharpness. With regular re-sharpening and maintenance, they are sure to become life-long companions in your kitchen.

    Yoshisada's knives are used everywhere—from household kitchens to professional scenes. Our emphasis on specifically catering to the needs of those who use our knives have resulted in our diverse range of products. The knives are easy to use and are designed to fit comfortably in one's hand. We recieve orders for customized knives and cutlery from chefs and restaurants from both within and outside Japan.

    Established in Higashiyama, Kyoto during the mid-Edo period, Yoshisada Knives' has continued to carry on high-quality, knive making skills for over 360 years. Yamaguchi Teiichiro(10th generation) is now one of the few, highly-skilled Kyo-hamono craftsmen in Kyoto. He was awarded the Ojuhosho (Medal with a Yellow Ribbon for industriousness) from the Emperor in 2011 for his outstanding achievements.
